This is my first post. I can’t believe I am even attempting such a thing. My desire is to make my blogs interesting, but not lengthy. I am beginning with recycling paper and making paper beads…..adding more weightier thoughts along the way.
Some people have seen my paper beads and asked me how to make them. I’m not talking about child’s play, even though it could be. Rather I’m talking about the art of making jewelry with recycled paper beads.
Everyone has a different method. Other people may have a better way. This is simply what knowledge I have from reading and from trial and error. Please experiment and find what is best for you.
Let’s get basic supplies out-of-the-way.
- Pencil (I prefer .9 lead) A pen will also work, but I usually smear ink as I go.
- Good scissors that are not too large
- Stick glue
- Round Toothpicks (You might as well reserve the entire box if you are truly going to attempt paper beads.)
- Twelve inch ruler and probably a yard stick
